My greatest and most fulfilling accomplishment has been raising my daughter, Hayley. Entering the entertainment business eight years ago opened my eyes firsthand to what young men and women experience. She is now the lead singer of the Grammy nominated band, Paramore. This adventure taught me how important it is to have a balanced life as well as a great support system.
I grew up in theatre, dance, and modeling. My 17 years as a classroom teacher with a Master's degree in Education and a Minor in Counseling played a major part in my life giving me a background of mentoring and guiding others. I've worn many hats during my life's journey (teacher, tour manager/public relations, presenter, personal assistant, advocate, choreographer, stage manager/producer, and mom). I also lived in NYC where I was an associate to the founder of the National Dance Institute, Jacques d'Amboise. I have experience helping people from all facets of the industry providing them with the best tools to discover how to manage and cultivate relationships and balance their personal and professional lives.
My concerns and heart are for young adult entertainers as well as families in the business trying to put their life into perspective while being influenced and pulled in many directions; specializing in teen and young adult behaviors, motivations, and relationships. Creating a flexible and in-depth artist-success model while partnering up with major labels, production companies, and studios has resulted in what is now, Shading the Limelight.
As a Licensed Neuro-Linguistic Master Practitioner, Business Coach, Hypnotist, and Weight Loss Master Coach through Global NLP Training. I consult, mentor, and life-coach in addition to developing and presenting workshops to support all involved in the industry.

I've had a calling in life beyond my understanding of service in helping others. It's by far always been my first calling. Coming from a television and recording arts background and dealing with the business since I was 10, I understand every step of the way what they are going through. Being able to perform and entertain helped assist me to reach many, and people from around the world that I would have maybe never reached otherwise. Shortly after high school I began teaching dance to all ages. Not only counseling teens through their problems but helping parents through dealing with their teens. Whether it's through a storm, or career planning, or just a shoulder to lean on. I am a certified life coach and master practitioner of Neuro-Linguistics Programming. Licensed by the society of NLP. My focus is on young entertainers dealing with the roller coaster of this business we call Show. I CAN relate.

My background is in education as a 20 year veteran teacher with a license in Gifted Education. I was recognized as local Teacher of the Year in 1999. MY husband and I have been a host family to foreign exchange students. I am involved in Community Theatre where I enjoy acting in comedic roles and have won Best Newcomer and Best Supporting Actress.
I am a licensed Neuro-Linguistics Practitioner and Business Coach. In addition to life coaching, I research and edit teacher materials, newsletters, and articles for Shading the Limelight as well as for manuals of educational videos for other production companies. I also am involved in the Educational Consulting and Management Division.

Nicole started learning NLP, psychological tools and advanced communication skills in her early 20s. As law student at the University of Amsterdam she wanted to understand the ins and outs of persuasive verbal-and non-verbal language, precision questioning, and tool sets to be more effective in the legal and business world.
Nicole obtained her first job as a trainer and coach while studying as an foreign exchange student in the United States. Working with expatriates moving to The Netherlands, and children. This is where she discovered the use of the same NLP and psychological tools in affecting change and to inspire. Next to finishing her law degree, she enrolled in to graduate programs in Educational Psychology, Psychology, and Speech & Communication.
She has been training and coaching since 1996 in various corporations, private practice, and as part of her company Global NLP Training. Global NLP Training is a company that specializes in teaching coaches, educators, and therapeutic professionals in NLP, coaching and psychological tools in destinations around the world.
In spring of 2008, Nicole and Steve connected with Cristi Williams and found synergy with Shading the Limelight. She is a consultant and trainer, involved in project-based work as well as our overseas representative.
